A Business Portrait Shoot with Charles Linden.

Being asked to photograph someone for their personal brand is not only an honour, but it is quite a responsibility.

As a professional photographer, they entrust you to create the images responsible for how people perceive them. This means understanding their brand, goals, and audience and using this understanding to capture photos that will enhance their image and make the right impression.

It’s true they say that people start to form an opinion of you the first moment, and that is usually your photo. So this needs to be spectacular and in line with the impression you want to make.

So to make sure I got this right, I met with Lyndon and we put together a mood board of images he liked and were in tune with his image. A mood board is a collection of images representing the style and feel you want for your photos. It's a crucial step in the process as it helps us align our visions and ensures the final images genuinely represent your personal brand. We then discussed locations that worked to achieve these shots.

We met in the morning for a relaxing coffee and then set off to the location, vacant offices next to his. These were chosen for the exposed brickwork and the old-style windows that would enhance the images.

We took our time to achieve the right shots, finishing the shoot at the studio for some headshots.

These are some of the finished images.
